PTP (Promise to Pay) is a borrower’s commitment to make a payment by a specific date. The promised amount and date can be tracked so that if the payment is not received as committed, the account automatically moves into a follow-up workflow.
Example:
A borrower says, “I’ll pay ₹5,000 by August 20.” → This becomes a PTP. If the payment is missed on August 20, the system can automatically trigger a reminder or collection follow-up.
PTP = A borrower’s committed payment date and/or amount, tracked to ensure the promise is fulfilled.
